The horses were whinnying, the cows were down for water + Stripe was out, but we had to start treasure-hunting first, though G + K got barley half-way through. The cows were gone before we finished, + Stripe crawled back by herself. We went to the auction to see 10 calves sold. B. + N. brought eggs over + we all played pit. (37 eggs)

April 11

We tried the rope on Fuzzy. We got it almost on twice, but she shook it off. Kiko was very easy to catch. W + I rode down the road past Steinbeck's place. Both horses trotted most on the way + cantered home. C tried to fly the kite. We took the boat out.
